Stephanie McGaha (pronounced Muh-gay-hay )moved to the Warner Robins area with her family in October of 2017 specifically to become a teacher in the Houston County School System. She has been teaching since 1999 and has taught high school in Upson County, Pike County, and Henry County. She took a break from teaching high school and taught PreK for almost three years. Mrs. McGaha earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Secondary Education from the State University of West Georgia and has a Masters degree in Post-Secondary Education from Troy State University. She is certified to teach PreK through 12th grade.
Mrs. McGaha is married to Matthew McGaha and together they have twins, Chloe and Patrick, who will be starting middle school this year at Bonaire Middle School. She loves teaching and looks forward to spending time with her students learning how to become more proficient readers and writers. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, camping, watching movies and listening to music.
