Bio
I obtained my B.A. in History from MGSU. Then, I went on to earn my M.A.T. in secondary education as well as my Ed.S. in Special Education, both from GCSU. This is my 11th year teaching, but my first year in Houston County, and I couldn't be happier to be here at Bonaire! I spent my first 10 years teaching in my hometown of Jones County at Clifton Ridge where I taught ELA and 8th GA studies. While in Jones County, I also obtained my Gifted and Educational Leadership Tier I certifications. My proudest accomplishment was when I was voted the 2023 Teacher of the Year. In my personal time, I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my husband, Kyle, and two children, Jaxon (5ys) Gracelee (3ys). We love going to the beach and all sports, but especially UGA football! Go Jags and Go Dawgs!
