Mrs. Alyson Keenom is a product of the Houston County School System and began her teaching career in 2004 at Houston County High School as a Math teacher. After 9 years of teaching in the classroom, she served as the Assistant Principal for Instruction at Houston County High for 6 years. In 2019 she became a proud Bonaire Jaguar as the principal of Bonaire Middle School.

Mrs. Keenom earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Valdosta State University. In addition, she has a master’s and a specialist degree in educational leadership from Georgia College and State University and is currently working on her doctorate at Columbus State. Mrs. Keenom is married to Chris Keenom who works on RAFB in civil service. They have two amazing boys, Chace, a 7th grader at Bonaire Middle, and Colton, a 3rd grader at Bonaire Elementary.
