Candace Long is currently in her 19th year teaching middle school. She has taught gifted social studies and language arts in several counties and this is her 9th year in Houston County! She has a Masters degree in education. She is married to Andrew, who is an engineer. Her daughter Laurel attends VHS and is involved in the drama program. Candace enjoys attending her daughter's musical theater productions and traveling to new places with her family when not at school.
