My name is Gail Brown and I teach 7th and 8th grade math at Bonaire Middle School. I have been teaching for 29 years in Houston County. I taught 7 years at Tabor Middle School, 5 years at Northside Middle School and 17 years at Bonaire. During my career, I was a member of the Georgia Middle School Association's Team of the Year for 1996, department chair as well as Teacher of the Year for Bonaire Middle for the school year of 2009-2010. I am also the eighth grade cheerleading game squad coach.
I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1992, specializing in students with learning challenges and behavior challenges and earned by masters degree from Troy State University specializing in Post Secondary Education.
I am a very proud mother of two daughters. My oldest daughter, Haley, is a graduate of Veterans High as well as the University of Georgia. She works at the National Weather Office as a meteorologist. She is also a former Jaguar! My youngest daughter, Caitlyn, is a senior at Veterans High School and is a cheerleader. She is planning to graduate college pursuing a degree in physical therapy. Caitlyn is a Jaguar, as well!
