Mrs. Hicks is a product of Houston County School System. She graduated from Warner Robins High School in 2008. She went on to obtain her Bachelors degree in Middle Grades Education at Georgia Southern University in 2012. She worked at Bacon County Middle School for two years before coming back home and has been at Bonaire Middle School since 2014 teaching 8th grade science. In 2017 she graduated from Walden University with her Masters in Middle Level Education. Then in 2019 she graduated from Piedmont College with a Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. 

Mrs. Hicks and her husband have been married since 2022 and she has an amazing step-daughter. She has two sweet rescue dogs named Barney and Bear. In her spare time, she enjoys going on family walks to the park in the neighborhood, attending Burn Bootcamp, reading, and going to the beach anytime that she can get away.
