Ms. Ponsell has been teaching in Houston County for 18 years, and this is her 5th year as a BMS Jaguar! This year she will be co-teaching two classes of 8th grade Social Studies, one class of 7th grade Social Studies, and one class of 8th Grade ELA. Ms. Ponsell has earned her ED.S (Specialist Degree) in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as her Masters in Education and Bachelors of Arts in Educational Psychology. She is also a proud Veteran of the United States Army where she spent 4 years on active duty and 2 years in the Army Reserves. Ms. Ponsell grew up in a military family living in many places, as well as raised her own 3 children in a military family before settling in Warner Robins. In her spare time, she enjoys enjoy outdoor activities in all seasons, animals, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She has 4 dogs (Maggie, Ellie, Annabelle, and Dusty, and two cats (Mickey and Glinnie) to keep her busy!
