Mrs. Hutchens is a product of the Houston County school system and has been a math teacher for 8 years. Her certifications are in Mathematics (grades 4-12), Health & Physical Education (k-12), and Gifted In-Field. This year, she will be teaching Honors Algebra and 8^th Grade Math. She serves on the BMS FIERCE PBIS Team and the New Teacher Committee. Mrs. Hutchens has also taught and coached cheerleading at the middle and high school levels. She is married to Timothy Hutchens and has two children, Ella Kate (6 years) and Taylor Mae (4 years). Mrs. Hutchens enjoys reading, shopping, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. She has a joyful passion for teaching and looks forward to another great year with her students.
