Mrs. Washington has a Bachelor's in Middle Grades Education, a Master's in Post-Secondary Education, and a Specialist in Curriculum & Instruction. She attended Middle Georgia College, Georgia Southern University, Troy University, and Piedmont College to obtain her degrees. 

She has taught for twenty-four years here in Houston County, twenty three being at Bonaire Middle School. Social Studies and Science are the subjects that she has taught over the course of her career. She will be teaching 6th Grade Social Studies and Earth Science this year. 

She enjoys reading, cross-stitching, and spending time with her family.
