Bio
Hello and thank you for visiting my webpage! I am currently in my 16th year of teaching language arts. This is my first year as a Bonaire Jaguar, and I am so excited to be a part of the BMS family! Previously, I taught 7th and 8th grade language arts as well as 6-8 reading at Warner Robins Middle (2010-2024), and I began my career by teaching 6th grade language arts at Northside Middle (2009-2010).
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary English/Language Arts from Georgia Southern University, a Master of Education degree in Middle Grades English/Language Arts from Georgia Southwestern State University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. I also have a K-12 Reading Endorsement, and I will be earning a gifted endorsement this school year.
My family includes my husband and two daughters.
I am proud to be a Jaguar, and I love teaching and getting to be a part of my students' lives! Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, supporting my girls at cheer competitions, reading, watching movies and TV, traveling, and supporting our Jaguars at games, performances, and competitions.
